Is it safe for my phone? Will the magnets affect my phone?
Yes! L!NK is safe for your smartphone. Phone manufacturers have been using magnets in phones for quite some time. Modern smart phones contain a flash drive which, unlike a computer hard drive, has no moving components and, therefore, cannot be harmed by magnets.
How does it attach to my phone?
L!NK’s magnetic base attaches to your phone or hard-shell phone case with industrial-strength 3M tape. The lanyard itself has another magnet which creates a strong magnetic hold that safely secures your phone to the lanyard.
Will L!NK attach to any phone case?
L!NK is compatible with almost all phones and cases. However, the 3M tape will not adhere as strongly to silicone-based cases, waterproof cases, or any cases with textured/rubbery surfaces. For best results, we recommend attaching L!NK directly to your phone OR to a hard-plastic case.
Why do I need to use the alcohol prep pads to clean my phone before application?
Unlike alcohol-based cleaners, Oil-based and other non-alcohol-based cleaners leave residue and streaks which minimize the effectiveness of the 3M tape.
What is included with the L!NK Lanyard?
Each new L!NK Lanyard box should contain 1 L!NK Lanyard, 1 phone base, and 2 alcohol prep pads. If any of these components are missing or arrive damaged, contact the crowdfunding page and we will help you as quickly as possible.
How long does the 3M tape take to cure?
When applying the magnetic base, remove the 3M tape film and press the base firmly to your phone or hard-shell case for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, the base will have successfully adhered and you will be ready to use your L!NK. We do, however, recommend letting the tape cure for a minimum of 2 hours before heavy use.
What is the D-Ring for?
Most lanyards are used for I.D. with a badge. The D-Ring allows for you to clip your I.D. or badge while still being able to wear your phone. It can also be used for sunglasses, eyeglasses, retractable key card, keys, etc.
Will it harm Credit Cards? Wi-Fi? Bluetooth? GPS?

What is the lanyard strap made from?
The lanyard strap is made from high-quality polyester stitched to a twill-embroidered patch that keeps the phone lying flat against your chest.
Can I remove L!NK from my phone or case?
Yes! You are able to remove L!NK after it has been attached. To remove L!NK, all you need is a piece of dental floss (or something similar). Take the dental floss in both hands and pull it back-and-forth in a sawing motion pulling towards the base.
How big is the L!NK phone and lanyard bases?
L!NK’s low-profile phone base is 1.5 x 1.5 x 0.25 inches. The lanyard base is 1 x 1 x 0.125 inches.
