APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Setting up your new L!NK Lanyard is a simple process, however, there are several steps you need to take to ensure that your product is applied properly. This guide provides step-by-step instructions and suggestions for proper application of the L!NK Lanyard Phone Base.

STEP 1

Remove All Components From Packaging

Each new L!NK Lanyard box should contain the following:

  • 1 L!NK Lanyard
  • 1 Phone Base
  • 2 Alcohol Prep Pads

Make sure you remove all content from the box to ensure that everything is accounted for. If you are missing anything from your kit, please contact us. We will be able to provide further instruction and assistance.

 

STEP 2

Prepare Your Device For Base Application

Remove the lanyard from the tray and separate the Phone Base from the lanyard. Using the included alcohol prep pad, clean your hard case or phone surface, and allow it to dry. For optimal adhesion, it is imperative that you use the provided alcohol pre pads and avoid using any oil or other non-alcohol-based cleaners.

L!NK is compatible with almost all phones and cases. The 3M tape is designed to adhere to most surfaces; however, it can be difficult to adhere to: Silicone-based Cases, Waterproof Cases, Textured Surfaces, and Rubbery Surfaces. For best results, we highly recommend installing the Phone Base on your phone itself or a hard-plastic case.

 

STEP 3

Remove 3M Tape Film & Line Up Phone Base

Gently remove the 3M tape film backing on the Phone Base and center the base on the device. For ergonomic reasons, we recommend placing the Phone Base near the bottom of your device. This will optimize accessibility and usability of your phone.

 

STEP 4

Apply Base To Phone Or Hard-Shell Case

After choosing a location, press firmly for 30 seconds. We recommend letting the 3M Tape cure for 2 hours. For best adhesion results, allow to cure overnight before heavy use. Once the Phone Base has cured, you are ready to use your L!NK!
